On the back of two wins over the bank holiday weekend, Alvechurch look for a third win in a row when they take on Needham Market. Here is everything you need to know about the game.
How have both teams been playing?
As mentioned above, Alvechurch had a great bank holiday weekend, picking up two wins in a row over rivals Bromsgrove Sporting and Redditch United to progress in the FA Cup and move up to 11th in the league. Manager Ian Long will be pleased with the attacking intent his team showed in those games as Church scored seven goals, including three in the first 20 minutes against Redditch on Monday. With players also returning from injury, Long has a near full squad to pick from as his side looks for a third consecutive victory.
Needham meanwhile, have made a good start to the season; winning two of their opening five games to sit just outside the play-off places by a point. With the leagues top goalscorer, Joseph Marsden, in their side they posses an attacking threat; backed up by Luke Ingram also having three goals to his name. To add to this, they have signed Colchester United attacker Tariq Issa on loan, meaning the Church back-line could have their hands full on Saturday.
